OK, we are tired of arguing with the Parks department!  The course is going to go back to the same route as last year.  We were unable to get a permit for the upper Crawford area.

    The 50k will follow the same route as the 50 k of 2007 however it will be run in reverse this year. Loop one will be up to the KVR via Lost Lake trail and then down Crawford trail to Race Classic, over to Lost Lake trail and down to the start/finish aid station.  Loop two will then follow Lost Lake trail back up to Race Classic and over to Crawford trail.  Crawford trail up to the KVR and then back down Lost Lake trail to the finish.

    The 25k will follow the same route as the 50k up to the KVR via Lost Lake Trail.  It will
then follow the Crawford trail down to Race Classic, over to Lost Lake trail and down to the finish.

    Course starts at 1729' (527m) above sea level and climbs to 4003' (1220m) a difference of 2274'.  Total elevation gain is over 6,000' for the 50k and over 3,000' for the 25k.

    There will still be a special draw prize for those running the 50k.  Information on how to qualify for the prize will be given to runners before the start of the race.
